Who IS Mike Irvin?

First I am not the Cowboy…                                

I was a Carpenter, I was a Home Builder, I have been a Cook, In my mid-twenties I decided “yes” college is actually a better route to go.

So I thought what else do I like and my camera came to mind, then I thought what kind of photography would I might like and Newspaper Photographer came up.

I researched the best school for Photojournalism at the time and off to University of Texas at Arlington I went and that’s how I became one of the best well rounded, do anything type, of Photographer I am today.

From Elementary School Plays to Super Bowl Playoffs, Presidential Elections and CEO portraits I have seen a lot and learned a lot. Finally one day someone called the newspaper looking for a photographer for their wedding and my style of “tell the story of the day” wedding photojournalism was born…I love Weddings!!

They are great stories to tell visually and never the same thing twice.
